Mike is the COO at U-T San Diego and is spearheading the transition of the company to a fully integrated media organization. He joined U-T San Diego in 2009. Prior to that he was the VP of Sales-Interactive for Freedom Communications. He has been involved in several internet startup companies, including his own firm, He created an email marketing startup in the late ’90s that was bought by DoubleClick where Mike went on to run the national sales for DoubleClick’s email division.

Mike is an Executive Board Member of the San Diego Ad Club and Co-Chairman of San Diego’s Interactive Day, the largest interactive advertising conference in San Diego.

He graduated from the University of San Diego’s business school and lives in La Jolla, CA.
